Theme:    K to 12 Learners: Ready to Face Life’s Challenges

My sincerest congratulations to all the elementary school graduates of Class 2017 – 2018!
It is my greatest interest to share the joy that you feel for achieving yet another milestone in your life.
This year’s graduation theme – “K to 12 Learners: Ready to Face Life’s Challenges” reminds us that schools should not only prepare you for further education.  Beyond mastery of standards, you should be equipped with the skills necessary in taking on challenges and opportunities, and in building a resilient commitment to pursue your aspirations.
To our graduates, be reminded that education is the bedrock of a nation’s development.  This milestone in your life is just the beginning of a long journey to attain readiness to contribute to building up a society which is prosperous, strong and resilient. The skills, mind-set, and attitudes formed and developed further will prepare you to the challenges in life.
In this significant event in your life, find time to display in your own ways your gratitude to the people who became instruments in your pursuit for a bright future; your parents or guardians who made daily sacrifices greater than you imagine; your teachers and mentors who selflessly devoted their time in trying to make you better holistically; and to the institution that never ceased to exhaust all its efforts to make your days in school constantly meaningful.
As this school year ends, it closes a chapter of your academic journey.  But, it also widens the horizon for greater opportunities. I can only hope that you always find in yourself the conviction to never give up your education.  Realize your aspirations by applying your learning, optimizing your abilities, and nurturing your spirituality.
May you never forget that we live not only for ourselves but for the rest of us.
Congratulations to all the Graduates of Class 2017-2018!  God bless us all!
